Speech & Language Services in Schools

Language skills are needed to learn and to communicate with others. Curriculum based activities such as Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking are all forms of language. Speech and Language difficulties can interfere with how well a child performs in school.

I will aim to provide you with a service that is tailor made to suit your needs whether that is working with children’s speech and language needs on an individual/group basis or working within the classroom.

How will your school benefit from commissioning my services?

  • The school will receive support from an experienced therapist in helping children with a wide range of speech, language and communication needs. From assessments, interventions and training.

  • Educational staff will be empowered with improved knowledge, awareness and skills for working with speech, language and communication difficulties.

  • My speech and language therapy service will be able to meet the needs of individuals and the school as a whole; developing children’s communication skills and supporting literacy.

  • Evidence based and outcome driven target setting and therapy tailored to the school needs.
